Notice to exporters 2020/06: Syria trade sanctions guidance amended

The Export Control Joint Unit (ECJU) has amended its guidance concerning trade sanctions on Syria, to clarify the prohibition related to the purchase and transport of crude oil and petroleum products in Syria.
The revised guidance clarifies the exceptions to this prohibition and provides information on when to apply for a licence.
