Details

The anti-dumping duty on welded tubes and pipes from Belarus, China, and Russia was imposed by the European Union on behalf of the UK and the other member States. The Secretary of State transitioned the anti-dumping duty to continue applying in the UK after the transition period. Following a transition review, the anti-dumping duty ceased to apply to welded tubes and pipes from Russia and galvanised tubes were removed from the measure. The Trade Remedies authority have concluded a reconsideration of the transition review and reinstated the anti-dumping measure on galvanised tubes.

   Trade remedies notice 2023/09 has been added. This will supersede trade remedies notice 2021/08.

2. 9 August 2021

   Added trade remedies notice 2021/08: anti-dumping duty on welded tubes and pipes from Belarus and China. Added trade remedies notice 2021/09: anti-dumping duty on welded tubes and pipes from Belarus (suspension). Taxation notice 2021/01 superseded by trade remedies notice 2021/08. Trade remedies notice 2021/03 revoked by trade remedies notice 2021/09.

3. 1 July 2021

   Added the suspension notice 2021 No. 3 anti-dumping measure that takes effect from 1 July 2021.

4. 1 March 2021

   Minor correction to taxation notice to add the annex: Declaration required to qualify for specified overseas exporter duty amount.
