Details

The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade is publishing a notice under subsection 13(4) of the Taxation (Cross-Border Trade) Act 2018 and regulation 70(10) of the Trade Remedies (Dumping and Subsidisation) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 to extend the existing anti-dumping duties following the expiry review.

The Secretary of State transitioned the anti-dumping duty to continue applying in the UK after the transition period. Following a transition review, the anti-dumping duty ceased to apply to welded tubes and pipes from Russia and galvanised tubes were removed from the measure. The Trade Remedies Authority has concluded a reconsideration of the transition review and reinstated the anti-dumping measure on galvanised tubes.
