Details

The Prime Ministers of the UK and Japan held a summit meeting in April 2012 and produced a joint statement. The ‘UK-Japan Framework on Civil Nuclear Energy Cooperation’ was annexed to the joint statement. It states that Japan and the UK decided to launch an annual dialogue at senior level to strengthen bilateral cooperation across the full range of civil nuclear activities.

The ninth annual meeting was held virtually on 8 December 2020.
