Details

The government has announced allocations for the Night Shelter Transformation Fund, which will see £9.88 million used by organisations across England.

The Night Shelter Transformation Fund is a 3 year fund, designed to create a diverse range of quality, dignified provisions for people experiencing rough sleeping, providing improved outcomes for people experiencing rough sleeping.

Through this fund, DLUHC are supporting organisations to achieve 3 main objectives:

  • improving the quality of off-the-street accommodation
  • helping to reduce the number of people sleeping rough or requiring emergency shelter
  • making long-term transformations to the services provided by non-commissioned Night Shelter providers
