Nicholas White has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Parracombe Stream at the weir site at National Grid Reference SS 66965 44745. The proposed abstraction lies in the North Devon Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy reporting area.
The application is to abstract water as follows:
- 3.6 cubic metres an hour
- 86.4 cubic metres a day
- 31,536 cubic metres a year
Between 1 April and 31 March in each year
The water will be used for supplying water to a leat.
