Please see ‘National tariff payment system 2015/16: a consultation notice’ for the most up-to-date models about the proposed method for calculating national prices.

These models have been used as part of Monitor’s proposals for the 2015/16 National Tariff Payment System. The models provide the healthcare sector with information about the proposed method for calculating national prices.

Alongside the 8 price-setting models listed above, Monitor has also provided a description of how the models calculate national prices, including the SQL code for the Admitted Patient Care model.

Please note:

The models, and the draft prices derived from the models, are only illustrative. There may be changes to the models and to the prices which appear in the final proposals to be published in Autumn for the purposes of the statutory consultation.
