Details

NHS Improvement is the operational name for the organisation that brings together:

  • Monitor
  • NHS Trust Development Authority (NHS TDA)
  • the Patient Safety team including the National Reporting and Learning System
  • the Advancing Change team
  • the Intensive Support teams

Monitor and NHS TDA continue to exist as legal entities, but these reports refer mainly to NHS Improvement.

The annual report and accounts were laid before Parliament on 28 January 2021.
