Applies to England

The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 (that does not involve substantial change) from Severn Trent Water Limited.

  • Application number: T/64/45170/R/V001
  • Regulated facility type: Wastewater treatment works
  • Regulated facility location: Stoke Bardolph Wastewater Treatment Works, Stoke’s Lane, Stoke Bardolph, Nottingham, NG14 5HL.
  • National grid reference discharge point: SK 64730 42220
  • Receiving environment: River Trent
  • Effluent type: Secondary treated sewage effluent
  • Volume: 148,000 cubic metres per day

The Operator wishes to install chemical dosing using ferric sulphate in order to achieve a phosphorus removal requirement.
