In the Autumn Statement 2013, the Chancellor announced additional support for the care of emergency services workers and their dependents who are injured, ill or bereaved due to their work. Cabinet Office asked New Philanthropy Capital (NPC) to gather views and evidence to determine the best use of the funding.
