Details of the application
The Environment Agency has received an application to vary (change) an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Gateshead Council.
The proposed variation may alter the risk from waste operations.

Regulated facility type
The variation is to increase the permit boundary slightly to the east to allow for several additional storage bays. In addition to this multiple hazardous and non-hazardous EWC codes will be added to the permit which are generally of a similar nature to those already accepted on site. One EWC code will be 20 03 03 street sweepings which will be allowed to dewater on site.
