This procedure defines how requests for information must be handled to ensure the NDA complies with the requirements and legal obligations of the:

  • Freedom of Information Act 2000
  • Environmental Information Regulations 2004
  • NDA Openness and Transparency Policy
  • Data Protection Act 1998

Freedom of Information and Environmental Information requests during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic:

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the NDA will endeavor to answer all Freedom of Information and Environmental Information Regulation requests within statutory time limits. However, there may be delays so please bear with us. We will answer your requests as soon as possible and try to keep you updated.
