The ‘Appraisal of sustainability’ assesses the:

  • social
  • economic
  • environmental

impacts of the ‘National networks national policy statement’ (NN NPS). It also incorporates a strategic environmental assessment of the NN NPS.

A ‘Non-technical summary’ of this appraisal has also been published.

A draft ‘Appraisal of sustainability’ was originally published for public consultation on 4 December 2013 alongside the draft ‘National networks national policy statement’.
