Details

National Geological Screening Guidance sets out how information on the geology of England, Wales and Northern Ireland will be assembled and presented to the public.

National Geological Screening presents an overview of existing information about geology to a depth of about 1000m or so beneath England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

This final version of the Guidance is the outcome of a public consultation carried out between September and December 2015. For accompanying documents, including RWM’s formal response to the suggestions made by individuals and organisations, see the outcome of the public consultation on National Geological Screening. Welsh language versions of the Guidance and formal response are also published there, as well as the submissions received.
