This framework document has been agreed between the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and the National Citizen Service (NCS) Trust and has been approved by His Majesty’s Treasury. It sets out NCS Trust’s core responsibilities, describes the governance and accountability framework that applies between DCMS and NCS Trust and sets out how the day-to-day relationship works in practice. The framework document does not convey any legal powers or responsibilities but both parties agree to operate within its terms.
This framework document takes effect on 1 August 2023 and should be reviewed at least every 3 years.
