This evaluation was carried out with social workers in the child and family social care sector with a view to understanding how 56 local authorities and trusts engaged with, implemented and delivered NAAS to their social work staff. It also includes an early value for money analysis of phase 1.
The research captured views from social care staff in NAAS and ‘non-NAAS’ local authorities and trusts on the impact of NAAS and the post-qualifying standards in the wider children’s social care sector.
