Nathaniel Bacon, Christopher Nicholas Bacon, Margaret Anne Bacon and James John Skellorn trading as N J Bacon Farms has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number AN/035/0003/014 which authorises the abstraction of water from Minsmere New Cut at National Grid Reference TM 44182 67566
The variation applied for is: to increase the daily and annual abstraction quantities as follows:
- Existing: 108 cubic metres per hour (m3/hr), 2,592 cubic metres per day (m3/d), 250,000 cubic metres per year (m3/yr) and 30 litres per second (l/s).
- Proposed: 180 m3/hr, 4,320 m3/d, 400,000 m3/yr and 50 l/s.
