N & M Sizer Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/39/*S/0496/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from un-named drains within the South Level System at Lakenheath and Littleport, Suffolk at the following National Grid References:

The variation applied for is to vary abstraction volumes at reach/point A, E and F from the following existing quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 32,300 cubic metres per year to the following proposed quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 36,570 cubic metres per year.

The variation applied for is to vary abstraction volumes at point B from the following existing quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 12,270 cubic metres per year to the following proposed quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 4,000 cubic metres per year.

The variation applied for is to vary abstraction volumes at points C and D from the following existing quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 14,640 cubic metres per year to the following proposed quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 18,640 cubic metres per year.

The variation applied for is to aggregate abstraction volumes from the following existing quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 59,210 cubic metres per year to the following proposed quantities 54.5 cubic metres per hour, 1,091 cubic metres per day, 59,210 cubic metres per year.
