Mr Simon Bragg has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the River Avon at The Mill, Coombe, Enford, Pewsey, National Grid Reference SU 14785 50527.
The application is to abstract water ‘all year’ as follows:
- 6 cubic metres an hour
- 60 cubic metres a day
- 16,200 cubic metres a year
The water will be used for heat pump at a single dwelling. All of the water abstracted will be returned back to the River Avon.
