Details of the application

Mr Hugh Mannall trading as Arden Lakes, has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Triassic Mercia Mudstone groundwater body from two boreholes at National Grid References SP 21267 58429 and SP 21166 58568 at:

Arden Lakes
Ingon Lane
Snitterfield
Warwickshire
CV37 9LU

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 12.99 cubic metres an hour
  • 155.9 cubic metres a day
  • 35,518 cubic metres a year
  • between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year

The water will be used for topping up of fishing lakes to maintain water level.
