Information and advice for British visitors to Bali

Details

This guidance document provides tips for British people on dealing with potential problems caused by a volcanic eruption in Bali.

You must stay out of the exclusion zone around the volcano and follow the advice of local authorities.

The ash clouds from the volcano can cause the airport to close temporarily at short notice, and it could remain closed for days or weeks. If you travel to Bali while the volcano is active you should make plans to deal with possible disruption to your trip.

If you’re in or planning to be in Bali during this period of increased volcanic activity, read our travel advice and sign up for email alerts.
