Mosshayne Farm Partners has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number 14/45/002/2502, which authorises the abstraction of water from Dawlish Sandstone at National Grid Reference (NGR) SX 9826 9398.

The variation applied for is:

  • to change borehole location to NGR SX 98068 94586
  • to add the purpose of spray irrigation
  • to increase abstraction quantities to 43,715 cubic metres per year, 368 cubic metres per day and 18 cubic metres per hour.
