Professor Monks left his role at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero in September 2025.

Trustee, UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology

Professor Monks sought the Committee’s advice about taking up an appointment with the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. The letter containing the Committee’s consideration and the conditions imposed on the appointment was sent in October 2025; and the appointment was taken up later that month.
