Ministry of Defence publishes details of permanent secretary’s external meetings and senior officials’ business expenses and hospitality on a quarterly basis.
MOD Senior Officials’ expenses, travel and hospitality data for Quarter 4 January to March 2020 was not produced and published due to the COVID-19 nationwide lockdown. This started on 23 March 2020. The MOD workforce was directed to work from home unless critical to operations. This created complexity and resource implications in completing the return for a large department such as the Ministry of Defence.
