MOD publishes details of permanent secretary’s external meetings and senior officials’ business expenses and hospitality on a quarterly basis.
MOD Senior Officials’ expenses, travel and hospitality data for Quarter 1 and 2 of 2018 to 19 were not published due to changes in the reporting requirements. This created complexity and resource implications in completing the return for a large department such as the Ministry of Defence.
MOD have since reviewed this publication and made the changes necessary to meet Cabinet Office’s reporting requirements as closely as possible.
