MOD capability action plan 2011 to 12

On 29 June 2011 MOD published a capability action plan.
The review was based on a self assessment and focused on the department’s capability in three broad areas:
- leadership
- strategy
- delivery
The capability review was developed through extensive evidence gathering work. The department was subject to extensive review over the past two years.
The capability action plan was based on assessments made by these reviews, and captured the progress which had been made in implementing the changes. It identified where further improvements could be made and highlighted the department’s next steps and these actions were embedded in the department’s work to transform defence.
