The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB) Joint Venture.

This application is for a new bespoke deposit for recovery permit. This will allow the re-use of up to 60,000m3 of treated non-hazardous waste from the former Finmere Quarry historic landfill site to create a landscape bund as part of the required mitigation at the Chetwode Embankment section of the HS2 railway line.
