Agenda Item 1 – Welcome and introductions
Brian Bell opened the meeting and welcomed the attendees, including some new members of the MAC Secretariat.
Agenda Item 2 – Home Office, MAC Secretariat and MAC updates
Claire Smith gave an update on recent Home Office announcements, including the asylum policy statement and launch of the consultation on settlement. Holly White shared recent updates from the Secretariat, including the upcoming launch of the Labour Market Evidence Group website, and the recently published economic indicators data to support Call for Evidence responses for the Temporary Shortage List review.
Agenda Item 3 – Salaries Review: Full report
Members of the Secretariat provided an overview of the Salaries review and requested steers from the Committee on key considerations and recommendations.
Agenda Item 4 – Annual Report: Full report, Governance Report: Full report
A member of the Secretariat provided an update on plans for publication of the Annual Report. Chapter leads requested feedback from the Committee on most recent chapter drafts.
Agenda Item 5 – AOB
Brian Bell led a goodbye message to a member of the Secretariat.
