Michael Tweedie and Diana Tweedie trading as Messrs Davidson and Tweedie (Robson) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Till catchment.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 10.6 litres per second
- 38 cubic metres an hour
- 440 cubic metres a day
- 4,288 cubic metres a year
- between 1 June and 31 July inclusive in each year
- at National Grid Reference (NGR) NT 86041 35884
- from abstraction location Tithe Hill.
The water will be used for Spray irrigation - Direct.
