Notice to all Shipowners, Masters, Managers, Crew, Charterers, Shipbuilders, Project Managers, Employers, Surveyors, Recognised Organisations, Contractors and other providers of shipboard personnel

This Marine Guidance Note replaces MGN 674.

This Note should be read in conjunction with the Merchant Shipping (Safety Measures for Ships Carrying Industrial Personnel and Special Personnel) Regulations 2025, MGN 701, MSN 1919 (M) Code of Safety for Special Purpose Ships, 2008 and MSN 1920 (M) Code of Safety for Special Purpose Ships, 1983.
