Details
Under this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the UK Ministry of Justice and Home Office and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Latvia agreed to strengthen collaboration in the area of justice for the benefit of their citizens. This includes support for Ukraine’s justice reforms, the transfer of sentenced persons, civil and family justice, victim support, and mutual legal assistance.
The MoU was signed in Riga on 8 June 2026, marking a shared commitment to deepen our bilateral relationship and enhance cross-border cooperation.
