The Environment Agency has received an application to vary an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 involving substantial change to a permit from Greenway Environmental Limited.

Greenway Environmental Limited has applied to vary their permit for an Installation at the Rochester Clinical Waste Treatment Facility to remove all the existing permitted activities and waste types and to add new listed activities and waste types to operate a hazardous and non hazardous waste transfer and repackaging facility with container washing. The listed activities will fall under Section 5.3 of Schedule 1 to the Environmental Permitting regulations.
