MCERTS: standards for environmental data acquisition and handling systems

This describes the performance standards, test procedures and general requirements for manufacturers and developers of environmental data acquisition and handling systems.

  1. Updated the end of section C1 to add a sentence that was missing: "When determining mass emissions, you may apply the calibration function and conversion to standard conditions directly to the FLD (that is to 1-minute averages)."

  2. Changed title to data acquisition and handling systems. Deleted explanatory text about the development and background to the standard. Deleted generic software and data management diagrams. Integrated notes that contain requirements into main text. Deleted informative notes that have over time become common practice. Combined sector C1 and C2 to produce a single section about continuous emissions monitoring.
