Details

New arrangements for local health emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) will start from 1 April 2013. An important part of the new arrangements is the creation of local health resilience partnerships (LHRPs), which will bring together organisations and bodies to plan for emergencies for the new health system.

The materials in this resource pack will help with the setting up of LHRPs. They include:

• a summary of the roles of health organisations in emergency planning
• example terms of reference and membership
• example concept of operations (processes that LHRPs will follow)
