Mark Savidge and Rose Savidge has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Lower Wye catchment.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 11.2 litres per second
- 40 cubic metres an hour
- 800 cubic metres a day
- 12,600 cubic metres a year
- between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year
- at National Grid References (NGR) SO 66264 21692
- from abstraction location Un-named inland water at Rock Farm, Lea, Ross-on-Wye.
The water will be used for trickle irrigation.
