Mark H Poskitt Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number NE/027/0018/041 which authorises the abstraction of water from 1 April to 31 October inclusive, each year, from un-named inland waters within the Marsh Drain at Beal Ings, Kellington, York, located on land which is contained within the boundary formed by straight lines running between the following National Grid References: - SE 54242 25713, SE 54109 25622, SE 54503 25304 and SE 54633 25402.

The application seeks to add the two purposes of spray irrigation and transfer via Marsh Drain, Old Hee and un-named inland waters to Wide Arch for subsequent re-abstraction for spray irrigation.

There is no change to the quantities authorised on the existing full licence.
