Details

The UK marine strategy sets out the framework of how we will move towards Good Environmental Status (GES) in our seas over the next 6 years.

This update covers:

• the updated assessment of the state of the UK’s seas
• high level objectives for good environmental status (GES)
• detailed GES targets and indicators, through which we will measure progress towards achieving GES

It is an update to the  Marine strategy part one, published in 2019.
