Maria Bowden has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from Raglan Mudstone at Kirkenel Orchards, Ashford Carbonel at National Grid References SO 52895 70297, SO 53081 70375 and SO 53169 70452.
The application is to abstract water from each borehole as follows:
- 5 cubic metres an hour
- 40 cubic metres a day
- 10,000 cubic metres a year
At a total aggregate volume of:
- 15 cubic metres an hour
- 120 cubic metres a day
- 30,000 cubic metres a year
- between March and November inclusive in each year
The water will be used for trickle irrigation.
