Caversham reach, downstream channel approaching Mapledurham Lock.
Details
A large tree has lost its footing and fallen into the river at the downstream layby and approach to Mapledurham Lock preventing boats from entering.
We are working with the landowner and getting operational teams ready to remove the tree when the river is in a safe condition to do so.
Please do not attempt to pass or enter the lock until the obstruction has been removed from the channel.
