Map showing onshore licenses, strategic environmental assessment (SEA) areas and prosepective areas for shale gas.

The map shows the area on offer for the 14th Landward Licence Round. It highlights the areas which the British Geological Survey (BGS) have identified as most prospective for shale gas and shale oil, and also shows the areas which are currently licensed.
