This quantitative and qualitative research explored the attitudes, behaviours and digital capability of small businesses and landlords relevant to Making Tax Digital for Business.

The research involved a survey with 2900 small businesses and landlords. The research also involved 40 follow up interviews with small businesses and landlords who participated in the survey.

The research has helped us understand factors influencing businesses and landlords willingness and ability to transition into Making Tax Digital for Business.
