Details

The Planning Act 2008 created a new development consent regime for major infrastructure projects in the fields of energy, transport, water, waste water, and waste. These projects are commonly referred to as major infrastructure projects. Notices of decisions taken by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on projects under the Planning Act appear below. The Statement of Reasons and Development Consent Order for each project can be accessed on National Infrastructure Planning provided by the Planning Inspectorate, together with other project documents.
