Details

The Traffic Commissioner made orders to:

  • grant a period of grace to the operator to 9 January 2019 to nominate a transport manager, failing which this licence will be revoked on 9 January 2019 on grounds of lack of professional competence
  • grant a period of grace to 9 January 2019 to show evidence of continuing financial standing for 5 vehicles, failing which this licence will be revoked on 9 January 2019 on grounds of lack of financial standing
  • curtail licence to 3 vehicles from 23:59 on 23 November 2018 to 9 January 2019. If there is a satisfactory transport manager nominee and satisfactory evidence of continuing financial standing by 9 January 2019 the curtailment will be removed
  • thereafter, curtail the licence to 5 vehicles and any increase beyond 5 will require a formal variation and positive evidence of compliance with the licence conditions and undertakings
  • during the period of curtailment to 3 vehicles, the suspended vehicles cannot be used on this or any other licence
  • disqualify Graham Cooper permanently as a transport manager

  • revoke the operator licence held by MacDiarmid Haulage Ltd with effect from 23:59 on 14 February 2019
