M and M Maxwell NPS/NA/000181: application made to abstract water

M and M Maxwell has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Till catchment.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 69.4 litres per second
- 250 cubic metres an hour
- 5,749 cubic metres a day
- 20,388 cubic metres a year
- between 1 May and 31 July inclusive in each year
- at National Grid References (NGRs) NT 97404 32713 to NT 98811 31626
- from abstraction location North Doddington Farm.
The water will be used for Spray irrigation - Direct.
