This note advises private registered providers who own or manage retirement leasehold accommodation of management fee limits for the financial year 2026/27.

From 1 April 2026: 

The basic limit will be:	£646
The limit when management is contracted out to an agent who charges VAT will be:	£740

These limits have been agreed with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government which has policy responsibility in this area.
