Louise Claire Connolly has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number 8/36/19/*S/0106 which authorises the abstraction of water from Holbrook Gardens Lake, Holbrook, Ipswich at National Grid Reference (NGR) TM 17644 36352.
The variation applied for is to change (i) the point of abstraction from Holbrook Gardens Lake to Un-named stream, tributary of Alton waters, Holbrook at NGR TM 17649 37379; (ii) the abstraction period from summer to winter and (iii) the purpose from spray irrigation direct to spray irrigation storage. No increase in quantities have been proposed. The quantities proposed are:
- 38 cubic metres per hour
- 900 cubic metres per day
- 19,440 cubic metres per year
- At an instantaneous rate not exceeding 10.5 litres per second
- From 01 November to 31 March each year
