Details
This is the grant determination for the Local Authority Better Care Grant for 2026 to 2027. The grant is ringfenced and must be used to meet adult social care needs, in particular supporting hospital discharge and the social care provider market. The recipient authority must pool the grant funding into the local Better Care Fund alongside NHS funding. The recipient authority must meet the national conditions, planning and reporting requirements as set out in the 2026-27 Better Care Fund Framework.
