Pursuant to section 4 of the Trade Union and Labour (Relations) Consolidation Act 1992 (“the 1992 Act”), the Certification Officer removed the National Union of Mineworkers (Leicester Area) from the list of trade unions on the grounds that it is no longer a trade union within the meaning of the 1992 Act.
