Lindsay Lodge Farm Ltd has applied to the Environment Agency to vary a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the North Essex catchment.
The application is to vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 2.1 litres per second
- 8 cubic metres an hour
- 182 cubic metres a day
- 32,760 cubic metres a year
- between 1 March to 31 October inclusive in each year
- at National Grid Reference TL 97676 44467
- from abstraction location Lodge Farm, Lindsey.
The water will be used for trickle irrigation - direct.
