Lidsey landfill site is operated by Lidsey Landfill Limited with partners Sita and Veolia. The site is north of Bognor Regis in the Woodgate area, West Sussex.
The site disposes of non-hazardous household, industrial and commercial waste. As the primary regulator, the Environment Agency is responsible for:
- granting or refusing environmental permits
- setting the conditions in the permits
- making sure that permit holders comply with them
