Decision of the Charity Commission published on 4 April 2011.
The trustees of a residential home charity had set out proposals to amend its purposes and lease the property because the buildings did not meet modern care standards and had been empty for some time. The commission made a draft scheme to give effect to the proposals.
Having considered representations made against the scheme, the commission decided that the scheme should be made, but with modification.
